Cesar Barrientos Sanhueza, PhD candidate

Agricultural Engineer Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso, MSc.

Cesar is doing his PhD in the lab working on trying to elucidate key aspects of fluid mechanics in the soil-root interface. He is using microfluidics, microscopy and root pressure probes.

 

 

 

 


Dr. Flavia Dorochesi, Postdoctoral Researcher

Flavia is working in the lab as a postdoc and she is well focused on the microorganisms-plant relationship in the microenvironment near fine root.

 

 

 

 


 

Dr. Alexis Velasquez-Saez, Postdoctoral Researcher

Alexis is working in the lab as a postdoc and leading the project “Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi as part of microbial terroir in vineyards: Effect on grapevine volatile metabolome and wine aroma”.

 

 

 


Marcos Roldán, PhD Student

Marcos is doing his PhD in the lab, mainly working in Vitis water relations from the root to the leaf.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 


Eberhard (Eber) Neserke, undergrad student
